Visyon offer a variety of courses and workshops for parents including an 6 week ‘Anxiety programme’ where you will get the chance to meet other parents, gain an in-depth understanding of what anxiety is and learn how you can support your child with their anxious feelings.
The charity has trained sleep practitioners who can work with you to develop a sleep routine for your child from reception class age up to 19.
They also run workshops on topics including Loss and Bereavement, Navigating Sexuality and Understanding Self-harm. These are great opportunities to meet other parents going through similar experiences so you don’t feel alone in supporting your child.
For more information on these courses please contact Visyon by email on administration@visyon.org.uk.
