**An INSET day is a day where staff are in school, or at another venue, working and training. Staff work an additional 5 days per year to students and this time is used to deliver statutory training (like safeguarding/first aid etc) or to introduce ideas for the classroom. Sometimes this time is taken as longer slots at the end of the school day. These are called twilight sessions. This training is essential in ensuring that we deliver the highest quality education.
